To be used with the ProtectaBEE® system sold separately:
1. Vented Cones
A stylish new hive entrance to cool off your busy bees, while protecting them from unwanted predators and allowing bee vectoring.
2. SwarmStopper
Our ProtectaBEE™ SwarmStopper insert keeps swarms in temporarily, allowing worker bees to leave and enter the hive while preventing the queen from leaving.
Great for:
- You’ve CAUGHT A SWARM want to ensure the queen stays inside for a few days!
- SPLITS where you want to make sure the queen stays in her new location
Note: The SwarmStopper strips pollen off bees, slows down bee traffic, keeps drones in, and does not allow for cleaning of the hive by the bees. It is only meant to be used for a couple of days.
3. Vented Inserts
ProtectaBEE™ vented inserts can be used when MOVING A HIVE or ADDING VENTING to one-half of the ProtectaBEE™ when used in combination with an entrance reducer or no insert.
Remember you will still need the ORIGINAL ProtectaBEE™, SOLD SEPARATELY HERE.
