Formic Pro Strips are designed for treating Varroa mites and are ideal for hobbyist beekeepers managing 1-10 hives, as they come in a convenient 2-dose (4 strips) pouch. These improved strips utilize a Formic Acid polysaccharide gel, providing a longer shelf life of 2 years compared to the previous MAQS (Mite Away Quick Strips). When placed within the core of the honeybee hive, they effectively eliminate Varroa mites where they breed, beneath the brood cap.
